HONORED…December 9, 2020 at the Cheyenne Park Pavilion an outdoor meeting of the Washita Chapter NSDAR was held. There were twelve Washita daughters participating in a Quilt of Valor ceremony for Alex Costea, a veteran of the USAF. Costea joined in 1972 and served until 1982 as an operations specialist. The ceremony was conducted by Linda Stewart, a member of Star-Spangled Quilters and assisted by Marci Grant. Surrounding Costea and his wife Mary, are members of the chapter: Doris Minor, Judy Tracy, Ellena Womack, Marci Grant, Linda Stewart, Evelyn Hart, Mareen Hallmark, Virginia Reed, Nancy Lisle, Marilyn Wilson, Luanne Eisler.…
