Monday March 29, 2021 marked the anniversary of the law passed in 2017 “The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017” it designated March 29 as the Nation’s annual, national observance to honor these patriots. The date notes the last day troops were on the ground in Vietnam.Doris Minor Commemorative Chairman of the Washita Chapter NSDAR welcomed those that attended the ceremony and ask Congressman Frank Lucas to lead the flag salute.
