Jacob Paul Wing, 29, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on August 4, 1992 in Burlington, Colorado. He is the son of Arlan Eugene and Tina (Potter) Wing. The Lord called Jacob home to Heaven on Thursday, February 10, 2022. He grew up in Elk City and graduated from Merritt High School class of 2011. Jacob attended Northeastern Oklahoma College where he received a football scholarship and played for two years. He then attended the University of Central Oklahoma where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. Jacob attended Oklahoma Christian College where he earned his Medical Technologist Degree.
Jacob married the love of his life and best friend, Racheal Keahey on June 10, 2017 and they bought a house in Elk City and made it their home.
He has worked in the labs at Shattuck Hospital and Alliance Health in Clinton, Oklahoma. Jacob currently was working as a professor in the Medical Laboratory Department at Southwestern Oklahoma State University while volunteering as a firefighter with the Elk City Fire Department. He was a active member of Community Fellowship Church in Hammon, Oklahoma.
Jacob will be missed by all those that had the privilege of knowing him and being around him, he would want everyone to remember him by what he lived his life by ” Everyone Love Everyone (ELE)”.
Funeral services and a fireman’s last call will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2021 at Merritt High School Gymnasium, Elk City, Oklahoma. Dolan Ivey will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is loving wife, Racheal of the home; mother, Tina Wing of Elk City, Oklahoma; fatherin- law and mother-in-law, Terry and Mae Keahey; siblings, Pake Wing and his wife, Mattie of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Jennifer Elliott and her husband, Dr. Shane Elliott of Fairview, Oklahoma; nephews, Jayton Wing of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Koa Elliott “Little Cletus” of Fairview, Oklahoma; brother- in-law, Clifton Keahey; a host of many other family members and friends.
Jacob is preceded in death by his father, Arlan Eugene Wing; his paternal grandparents, Paul Eugene and Eva Wing; maternal grandfather, Reuben Paul Potter Jr. Memorials can be made to the Elk City Fire Department, the Jacob Wing Memorial Scholarship Fund or Community Fellowship Church Youth Group in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, P.O.
