James Harold Coym 1937 ~ 2020


James Harold Coym was born on July 7, 1937 in Durham, Oklahoma to John H. and Sarah (Jones) Coym. He passed away March 14, 2020 at the age of 82 years and 8 months.

James married Joyce E. Thomas in Canadian, Texas on April 15, 1960. They lived in Cheyenne, Oklahoma and later moved to Seminole, Oklahoma. They moved back to Cheyenne in the early 90’s where they remained. James was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a John Deere mechanic for years. His hobbies included hunting, working on cars and spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home, three daughters, Pam and Denny Evans of Checotah, OK, Margaret and Curtis Cox of Haskell, OK, Glenda and Doug Fultz of Haskell, OK, one son, Jerald and Debbie Coym of Seminole, OK, one sister, Margaret Adam of Greeley, CO, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Grandchildren are Joseph and Stacy Casner of Haskell, OK, Aaron Fultz of Reydon, OK, Ashley Fultz of Haskell, OK, Callie and Josh Cole of Haskell, OK, Andy and Kaytlin Fultz, Nicole and Josh Little, Whitney Evans of Muskogee, OK, Kodi Evans of Antlers, OK, Tanner Cox of Haskell, OK, Addison Fultz of Haskell, OK, Tori Casner, Ethan Casner, Hunter Cole, Gunner Cole, Jace Casner, Parker Little, Sawyer Little, Elijah Cox, Deanie Stafford, Emily Livingston. Haylee Fultz. Services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Reydon Community Church. Interment will follow at Silent Home Cemetery.
