By Cherrie Nutley, SWODA Area Agency on Aging Ombudsman Supervisor — Ombudsman Volunteer training course will be held Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the SWODA Building, 420 Sooner Drive in Burns Flat. The second day of training will be held at a later date. Ombudsman Volunteers are trained to be resident advocates in Long Term Care Facilities. Each Ombudsman agrees to spend at least two hours per week at his or her chosen facility.
