Lady Bears Fall to Canute

The Lady Bears took #2 ranked Canute to the very end before falling by a score of 53-47. The first half was back and forth as Abbie Barton hit 8 of her 12 points and Canute led 26-25 at the break. The Lady Bears were sloppy in the first three minutes of the 3rd quarter and committed 7 turnovers, and the Trojanettes opened an 11-point lead midway through the stanza. Alie, Abbie and Hayley all scored 4 points in the quarter and the Lady Bears cut the lead to 5 heading into the 4th. However, Canute hit free throws down…
