The Oklahoma 4-H Shotgun Shooting Team, placed second nationally in this year’s shooting sports competition in Grand Island, Nebraska, June 26 through June 30.The team included Dwayne Skidgel-Coach (Pawnee/ Pawnee County), Alexander Palmer (Leedey/ Dewey County), Tanner Moles (Pawnee/Pawnee County) Evan Beck (Pawnee/Pawnee County, and Tagun Fittje (Cushing/Payne County).In this year’s competition, 42 states were represented, with more than 700 shooters. The shotgun competition consisted of 34 teams and 131 participants.The Oklahoma Shotgun Shooting team competed in three separate competitions to bring home second place.
