I can’t imagine not getting the Cheyenne Star newspaper every week. Even my mail carrier here in Stillwater knows if it hasn’t come by Tuesday following publication, I’m out to see if someone else might have it. Rollin Reimer and I bought the Cheyenne Star in late of 1974 from Joe Redden and sons. We published our first edition in January of 1975. We continued to publish without a miss until selling the newspaper to the Paxtons in 1986. At the time of the sale there were ten ladies reporting community news.
