Local Girl Dies in Crash Near Briscoe, Texas

A Cheyenne teen was killed, and a 20-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday, October 2, 2019, about a mile east of Briscoe in Wheeler County. According to Texas DPS officials, a 2005 Ford Taurus, driven by 20-year-old Gavin Whitten, of Reydon, was traveling eastbound on FM 1046. Meanwhile, a 2008 Ford F250, driven by 46-year-old Dustin Bruner, of Perryton, was traveling north on U.S. 83.
