A Cheyenne man was critically injured on Saturday after hitting a deer with his motorcycle. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Michael Beals was northbound on U.S. Highway 283 five miles north of Cheyenne when he struck the deer with his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle. Beals was transported to Roger Mills Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne and later transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted in critical condition with trunk external, trunk internal and head injuries.
