Local Tag Office to Begin Issuing REAL IDs

The Cheyenne Tag Office will begin processing REAL IDs on Friday, October 2, 2020. “The REAL ID processing will take approximately 30 minutes per person,” said Lawanda Kirk, Cheyenne Tag Agent. “Appointments are not required but will be available for those that need them. Please be patient, this is new for everyone,” she added. It is recommended that anyone over 65 should obtain an ID before the new system is in operation. This ID will not expire.
