Mallory Ashton Henson was born June 10th, 1986 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Susie Marie (Chester) and Carl Don Campbell. She passed away in her home north of Sweetwater, Oklahoma at the age of 34 years, 6 months and 27 days.
Mallory grew up in Sayre, Oklahoma where she attended school graduating in 2005. During her high school years she was active in the P.A.L.S program. After graduation she furthered her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she obtained her bachelors degree in education. During this time she was married to Jeremy Henson on March 15, 2008 at the Sweetwater Baptist Church. After her college graduation, she obtained employment with Sweetwater Public Schools where she taught elementary social studies and later transitioned in 2017 to Title 1 and became a certified autism specialist. Mallory loved being in the classroom and for the past 2 years she taught 2nd grade. In her spare time, Mallory enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, watching movies, drawing, painting and searching her genealogy.
Mallory had a heart that was focused on children. Even though she and Jeremy never had any children of their own, she saw every student that was in her class as her own. Besides having a heart for children, Mallory was a perfectionist and believed everything had its place and she expected it to remain there.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Ruth Chester and 1 aunt, Earlene Mutschler. Mallory is survived by her husband, Jeremy, of the home; parents, Carl Don and Susie Campbell, Sayre, OK; paternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Mae Campbell, Berlin, OK; parents-in-law, Greg and Jan Henson, Sweetwater, OK; sister-in-law, Kristina Henson, Yukon, OK; 1 nephew, Kyland Henson, Yukon, OK; cousins, Billy, Lacy, J.J., Jamie, Allen, Mandy, Carla, Elizabeth and a host of other relatives and friends.
