March 15th is Deadline to File Personal Property Assessments

Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 is the deadline to file your personal property assessments without a late penalty.New applications for homestead exemption must be filed in person by March 15th. Double homestead exemptions and the property valuation freeze will also need to be filed by March 15th. To qualify for a double homestead exemption, the total gross income from all sources occupying the same household cannot exceed $25,000. To be eligible for the property valuation freeze, you must be sixty-five (65) years of age by January 1st and your gross household income cannot exceed $68,700.
