MaryAnn Lackey 1938-2021

It is with great sadness that the family of MaryAnn Harmon Lackey, age 82, announce her passing on January 5, 2021. She was born in 1938 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Floyd E. Harmon and Helen L. Harmon.
She moved to Oklahoma City in 1956 where she met her lifelong husband Wilburn Lee Lackey. She and Wilburn married in 1957 and were married for 63 years. MaryAnn loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful gardener, and enjoyed crafting, cooking and traveling. She loved to spend time with her family especially at holidays. She was known for hosting large birthdays where it was not unusual to see 20-30 family members gathered for a wonderful smorgasbord of food and celebration. MaryAnn often crafted gifts for her family showing them how much they meant to her. MaryAnn and Wilburn traveled the United States from coast to coast, finding fun things to do and see. She enjoyed annual trips to Port Aransas with family and friends and especially enjoyed finding seashells and trinkets to bring home.
MaryAnn is survived by her spouse, Wilburn Lee Lackey, her daughters, Wathena Branham (Joe Branham) and Kristi Norman (Chris Norman) and her son, Brent Lackey (Pam Lackey).
Grandmother to Cameron Lackey (Tammy Lackey), Sydney Lackey, Brent Lackey, Adam Lackey, Stephanie Williams (Jeremy Williams), Weston Branham (Jenny Branham).
Great grandmother to Lola Lackey and Killian Lackey.
MaryAnn is preceded in passing by her sister Janeice Helen Carterman (Roy Carterman) and will be missed by her sister Sharon Kay Muzarol (Joseph Muzarol) and her niece Debbie Dailey (Robby Dailey) and great nephews, Anthony and Andrew.
MaryAnn has requested cremation and will be remembered and celebrated at a future date in order for her friends and family to attend.
