Last week I wrote about how Nan Sheets, writer for the Daily Oklahoman and director of the Oklahoma Art Center had taken an interest in Augusta’s painting. She, Howard and Augusta got along very well and although Sheets was a renown art critic, she was very admiring of Augusta’s work.
