Metcalfe Museum

In Western Oklahoma we are trying to enter into spring. We are thinking of vegetable gardens, flower gardens and planting of crops. We want to think of spring as a joyous new birth of our earth. At last we are seeing the trees starting to leaf out and a few bulbs that we have planted starting to sprout. We water and trim hoping our plants survive the freezes. Neighbors tell me they have planted tomato and pepper plants this week. Our hummingbirds have returned and are actively fighting at the feeder. They were late coming this morning. When I looked…
