“Movin’ in Motown,” Concert at SWOSU

Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) is excited to announce an upcoming musical event celebrating Motown and soul-jazz classics.On Sept. 28, starting at 7 p.m., the Memorial Student Center Ballroom will be the venue for a concert by the SWOSU Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Band, paying tribute to iconic Motown and souljazz artists.Motown Records, a groundbreaking institution founded in 1959 in Detroit by Berry Gordy Jr., is celebrated for its profound impact on the music industry.
