Nelda Bell Yow 1940~2021

Nelda Bell Yow, 80, of Duncan, Oklahoma was born on April 30, 1940 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of James Forrest and Gladys Irene Pearl Price (Lutz). Nelda went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Nelda married her sweetheart, Larry Gene Yow, on December 8, 1967 in Gainesville, Texas. She enjoyed her research into family genealogy, spoiling her cats, and watching the deer, turkey, and geese at the lake. Nelda and Larry traveled all over the United States together. Nelda was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Durham Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Elk City, Oklahoma. Rev Brian Chatman will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory is a husband, Larry Gene Yow; her son Ricky Don Cannon; daughter Julie Irene and her husband Mark Malone of Mansfield, Texas; grandchildren, Casey James Malone, Cory Cannon, and Amy Valentine.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Forrest and Gladys Irene Pearl Price; and her infant granddaughter, Marissa Malone.
