The Cheyenne Utility Authority is in the process of installing new ultrasonic radio read water meters throughout town. This will give them the ability to read meter usage more accurately, track leaks in service lines, and give a more detailed breakdown of water usage for the end user. Many of the meters are over 50 years old, which over time tend to under read water usage. This project is expected to be completed by August 1st.
