READING WINNER…Jentry Herren received the grand prize for the children’s reading program at the Minnie Slief library. She chose to go to the zoo and pet an elephant. Jentry’s family was able to go behind the scenes and in the elephant barn to see the elephants up close. Jentry and family were able to pet Kairavi, a 3-year-old female. Rama, 6-month-old brother to Kairavi was quite entertaining also and tried to steal the show from big sister. Jentry is the daughter of Jamey and Judith Herren.
