On October 5, 2023 Allen Atha, Laura Lopez, Marilyn Wilson, Dale and Judy Tracy enjoyed an interesting program given by Kathryn Harrison on one of our more interesting persons, who helped develop Cheyenne.Cosmo “Scotty” Falconer was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1867 and was a bookkeeper. In their twenties, he and his brother came to America. He found work with a Texas Cattle Company. Became very interested in cattle and partnered with King and Kennedy in owning the Laurel Leaf Ranch, in 1883 in Hemphill County, Texas. This ranch extended into Indian Territory..
