Ronald Millington 1941 ~ 2021


Ronald Winston Millington, 79, of Berlin, Oklahoma was born on September 12, 1941 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Winston Seth and Wilma Lucille (Flynn) Millington. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Elk City surrounded by his loving family.

After graduating from Berlin High School in 1959, he pursued a Electronics Associate degree from Sayre Junior College, graduating in 1961. After graduation he went to work in the aircraft industry as a draftsman for Aero Commander in Oklahoma City. He later went to work at LTV and Bell Helicopter in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

In 1974 he began his career as a farmer and rancher on his family Centennial Farm in Berlin community. His hobbies included bowling, playing dominoes, hanging out on the farm, watching John Wayne Westerns and reading Louis L’amour western novels. Ronald was very active in 4-H in his youth. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Berlin Cemetery Berlin, Oklahoma. Rev Scott Rodgers will officiate. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin- Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing his memory are his daughter and sonin- law, Rhonda Watts and Brian Watts of Blanchard, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Greg Watts of Lexington, Kentucky, Morgan Watts of Springdale, Arkansas; friend, Helen Millington, of Berlin, Oklahoma, along with extended family and numerous friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Winston and Wilma Millington.
