Rook Marquee Renovation Started

Friday, February 21, 2020 brought big changes to downtown Cheyenne at the Rook Theater. The marquee was taken down by Just in Time Signs of Sayre. Co-owners Justin and Kimberly Harrell and their crew brought in bucket trucks and heavy equipment to remove the layers of the old sign. Just as many suspected, the original skeleton of the old neon sign was under the exterior of what had been the newest Rook marquee. A definite sag of the sign has been noticeable for years, and when the layers were peeled back, deterioration of parts of the wood became evident. The…
