Security State Bank to Acquire Bank of Laverne

Laverne, OK and Cheyenne, OK – Laverne Bancshares, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Bank of Laverne, Laverne, Oklahoma, and Cheyenne Banking Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Security State Bank, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, announced today that they have entered into an agreement whereby Cheyenne Banking Corporation would acquire Laverne Bancshares, Inc.Upon closing of the transaction, expected to be in the third quarter of 2020, Bank of Laverne will merge into Security State Bank.
