Shooting in Cheyenne

On Friday, June 4, 2021, Roger Mills County Sheriff’s office responded to a report of a person at the hospital with a gunshot wound. Further investigation led the Sheriff’s Office to a residence in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. With assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and the Drug Task Force, the Roger Mills County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants on multiple residences and recovered numerous firearms resulting in multiple felony counts filed against Cheyenne resident, Brandon Basil Cunningham. A warrant for the arrest of Cunningham, with a $150,000 bond, remains outstanding. Related
