Shooting Investigated at Hammon Casino

Roger Mills County Sheriff’s Office received the 911 call about a shooting outside the Lucky Star Casino in Hammon shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Roger Mills County sent an ambulance and routed the information to the Custer County Sheriff’s Office. When deputies arrived, they found a 57-year-old man deceased outside of the casino. “A man walked into the casino and said you need to call 911, I am going to kill myself,” Custer County Sheriff Kenneth Tidwell read from the report. “He then walked outside and shot himself with a handgun.” The medical examiner did an…
