Stitt Signs Bill into Law Allowing Students to Transfer to Another School District at any Time

OKLAHOMA CITY — Gov. Kevin Stitt on Wednesday signed two education reform bills into law, including one that would allow students to transfer between any school district at any time. Senate Bill 783, authored by Sen. Adam Pugh (R-Edmond), Sen. Kim David (R-Porter) and Rep. Brad Boles (R-Marlow), amends the Education Open Transfer Act to allow students the ability to transfer to another school district at any time, provided the district has space available, according to the governor’s office.
