SWOSU Frat Wanting to Help ALS Families

Southwestern Oklahoma State University social fraternity Phi Delta Theta is helping with a national effort to help families dealing with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Hagan Holsapple of SWOSU’s Phi Delta Theta chapter in Weatherford said the frat brothers are trained and ready to support an ALS Family in western Oklahoma. The program, called ‘Adopt & Serve an ALS Family,’ matches undergraduate brothers with ALS families for arms-and-legs support (yard clean up, garage clean out, Christmas Light hanging, camaraderie with ALS patients or their children, for example.
