SWOSU Spotlight: Taber Beer

The following story is the latest in a spotlight series of SWOSU student-athletes from the Weatherford Daily News. This week’s SWOSU Athlete Spotlight of the Week features SWOSU basketball player Taber Beer. The 20-year-old guard is a junior from Hammon. She went to Hammon High School and played varsity basketball at Hammon. “I have played basketball for as long as I can remember,” Beer said. “The first league I played in was a church league in Sapulpa.” Beer said her biggest accomplishments in high school was being selected to the OCA and OGBCA All-State teams and making three State Tournament…
