Thiessen Ropes in the Jr. American Rodeo

The Jr. American Rodeo was held March 3-6, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas with the final being held March 7 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Chance Thiessen was an invitee to the competition after being named the State Champion of the NHSRA. He is the son of Kent and Lindsey Thiessen of Hammon, Oklahoma. There were 185 calf ropers that competed and only the top 20 moved on to the semi-finals. Chance had a qualifying time of 15.7 on two head. Only the top six Calf Ropers advanced to the finals.
