Thomas William Raff 1941 ~ 2021

Thomas William Raff was born September 25th, 1941 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Zelma Blanche (Leitner) and William Willard Raff. He passed away September 25th, 2021 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.

Tom moved with his family to Hooker, Oklahoma where he attended school graduating in 1959. After graduation he began working for Herbel Concrete where he worked his way up and was eventually promoted to manager/operator and was part owner. In 1977 the family moved to the Cheyenne area where he started Raff Construction. He continued to own and operate until 1984. He was married to Essie Marie Raff at Sayre, Oklahoma on November 2, 1984. They moved to the Tulsa area for a brief time before moving back to Crawford where he made his home. Tom found employment with Roger Mills County, Caswell, Anadarko, Cornell 412 Whiterock before his second retirement in 2014. Tom was not one to stay idle and when not working he enjoyed fishing, hunting, spoiling grandchildren and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Essie; 2 daughters, Iris Baker and Teresa Walker; 1 sister Yvonne McClellan and 1 brother, Dennis Raff. Tom is survived by 3 children, Tim Raff and wife, Jamie, Erick, OK, Cindy Cole and husband, Delmer and Doug Davie and wife, Tammy, Sayre, OK; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 1 brother, Robert Flewelling and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery officiated by Lori DeBose. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service- West. Condolences can be made online at www.
