Tragic Fire Kills Three in Hammon

Three Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribal members were tragically lost in a trailer house fire early Sunday morning, January 24, 2021 in Hammon.46-year-old Delmond Wayne Gawhega, Jr. ‘Bubba’ was a carpenter and was employed at Hammon Coop, his girlfriend 42-yearold Susan Whiteskunk and 49-year-old Stewart Candy, all perished in the fire.The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
