Treva D Hughes was born July 29th, 1956 in Reddings, California to Julia Verdine (Sizemore) and J.T. Boyett. She passed away Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years and 10 months.

Treva moved with family to the Cheyenne community as a young girl. She grew up and attended school in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. At the age of 14 she was married and began her family with the birth of three children, Christy, Becky, and Jason. While raising her family and being a homemaker she also was employed with various businesses in and around the Cheyenne area including restaurants and nursing homes. On June 19th, 1986 she was married to Charles Jimmie “Jim” Hughes in Wheeler, Texas and was added four children to her family, Glen, Rick, Charlie, and Stephen. After their marriage they remained in the Cheyenne community and she looked after the farm and cared for her family. Treva enjoyed gardening, fish, traveling, and following Jim in whatever he enjoyed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim; son, Jason Parkhurst; son-in-law, Gary Batchelor; and one sister, Sherry Boyett. Treva is survived by her children, Christy Batchelor, Cheyenne, OK, Becky Newman, Cheyenne, OK, Glen Hughes and wife, Tina, Arapaho, OK, Rick Hughes, Elk City, OK, Charlie Hughes and wife, Barbara, Cordell, OK, and Stephen Hughes and wife, Terri, Arapaho, OK; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren on the way; one brother, Billy Boyett and wife, Sherry, Shawnee, OK; one sister, Donna Krobel, Cheyenne, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held Monday, June 3, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Cheyenne Cemetery officiated by Brother Larry Parvin.
