UWCD Announces Cost Share Assistance Available

The Upper Washita Conservation District announced that funds are available for cost share assistance on select conservation practices. The State of Oklahoma has provided limited funds to our conservation district to help landowners implement measures that address their resource concerns. Conservation practices available for cost share assistance include: pipeline, watering facilities, water wells, critical area planting, diversions, ponds, grade stabilization structures, waterways, range planting, forage and biomass planting, nutrient management, brush management, prescribed burning, firebreak, and field terraces. The cost share rate is 75% for qualifying practices up to a maximum payment of $5,000. The district will be accepting applications…
