Vicky Dian Miller 1954 ~ 2022

Vicky Dian Miller was born February 2nd, 1954 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Gladys Laverne (Henson) and Dewey Avis Daugherty. She passed away Thursday, September 8th, 2022 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 6 days.

As a young girl, Vicky’s first job was working in the Daugherty Grocery Store with her parents. At the age of 3 they moved from Dempsey to Cheyenne where she attended school and graduated in 1972. A few months after graduation she was married to Troy Miller and together made their home in Strong City where they began their family. Throughout her life she worked at Country Expressions clothing store, Sandy’s Flowers and Gifts, Park Service, Packsaddle Clean Sweep, and the Roger Mills County Barn. Vicky always seemed to have projects that she enjoyed including bottle calves, photography, music, reading, and gardening. Her grandchildren always held a special place in her heart and played an important role in raising them and always loved spending time with them. Vicky was also a member of the GFWC-OK Cheyenne Sorosis Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steve Daugherty and 1 infant sister, Vynna Daugherty.

Vicky is survived by her 2 sons, Keith Miller and wife, Stacey, Hammon, OK and Kevin Miller and wife, Laura, Strong City, OK; 4 grandchildren, Bailey Miller and wife, Taber, Morgan Miller, McKenna Cox, and Lane Hawkins; 2 great grandchildren, Buster and Ellis; 1 brother, Stan Daugherty and wife, Jency, Houston, TX; 1 sister, Gayle Damron, San Antonio, TX; 1 sister-in-law, Becky Daugherty, Yukon, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
