ago, Roger Mills County citizens had the opportunity to protest a building permit for a cellular tower in Township 12N. Unfamiliar with that location and its relationship to the Battle of the Washita in Township 13N, the park was concerned about the effect the tower would have on the viewshed of the Washita. Thankfully, the cellular tower is beyond 20 miles from the park and not likely to cause significant changes in the viewshed.
