Campgrounds provide a low-cost and unique opportunity for visitors to experience National Park Service (NPS) sites across the country. With visitors spending an estimated 7.9 million nights at park system campgrounds in 2018, the NPS is undertaking a campground modernization strategy to ensure every user regardless of their ability and background is welcomed and included in a modern NPS campground. Although Washita Battlefield does not have a campground, our sister agency, the USFS Black Kettle National Grassland, has several camping opportunities.
