Recently, a social media follower commented on one of our posts in which we asked our local stakeholders to help us in our restoration efforts of the Native Garden. The commenter said, “What help do you need?” In regard to the Native Garden, we request volunteers to regularly weed it to maintain a professional appearance. Some of the new plants will need consistent watering until they are well established. For springtime Natural Resource tasks, volunteers are needed to help remove exotic and invasive plants through herbicide spraying (e.g. Johnson grass), weed wrenches (e.g. Siberian elm), and hand pulling (e.g. Thistle).…
