Recently, the Washington Post wrote an article about President-elect Joe Biden’s choice for the Secretary of the Interior. He nominated Rep. Deb Haaland (D-N.M.), who will be the first Native American Cabinet secretary. It’s a historic pick for sure and a move to improve the government’s relationship with Indigenous peoples.
