There are 84 parks in the National Park Service designated Intermountain Region (now renamed Interior Regions 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9- but that’s another column conversation.) To learn quickly about each park and their management thereof, we routinely receive online google surveys from our Regional Offices or the Washington Office. Recently, the park received an online request to assess our needs regarding the management of NPS paleontological resources (fossils). We don’t have any.
