Waymond Lee Hall 1944 ~ 2021


Waymond Lee Hall was born March 1st, 1944 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Dorsie Mae (Davidson) and James Ruble Hall. He passed away Monday, March 15th, 2021 in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years and 14 days.
Waymond grew up in the Hammon and Elk City area and attended school at Elk City. As a teenager he was raised by Bob Hansen after his father passed away. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States military and served during the Vietnam era. After his discharge he returned to western Oklahoma to work for his uncle at Marion Davidson Ford in Weatherford, Oklahoma as a mechanic and later was employed with Red Johnson Ford and Bob Maine Ford. In 2003 Waymond went to work for High Plains Services driving a truck until his retirement in 2011. He enjoyed horses, rodeo’s, Elk City round-up club, caring for his cattle and watching westerns movies. He also had great pride in being an active member of the Elk City Community Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; both wives, Carolyn and Linda Hall; two sisters, Tomina McWhorter, and Sheryl Hall.
Waymond is survived by his sons, David Hall and wife, Connie, Elk City, OK; step-son, Dale Johnston and wife, Sabrina, Foss, OK; nephew and adopted son, Bo Hall, Elk City, OK; two step-daughters, Regina Murray and husband, Jimmy and Lisa Johnston; thirteen grandchildren, Bradley, William, Jennifer and husband, Brent, Brandon, Kimberly, Ashley, Natalee, Aaron and wife, Denice, Jordan and wife, Tiffany, Kayla, Caleb, Lynzi, Shyanne; sixteen great grandchildren; 1 brother, Gregory Hansen and wife, Carolyn and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday March 27, 2021 at the Fairlawn Chapel officiated by Judy Timms. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West.
