Whinery Family No Longer Involved in Funeral Business

“The Whinery Family opened the first funeral home on February 16, 1961 with the intent on taking care of local families with dignity and respect,” A.L. Whinery said. In 2014 the business was sold to Premier Funeral Management. “Our hope was that they would continue to keep the service we had worked so hard to establish in our four locations,” Whinery added.
